Father’s Day is fast approaching and whether you plan on celebrating with your own dad, a son, a grandfather or a dad-to-be, you will find plenty of opportunities around Sanibel Island and the surrounding area to make the day super special.
You could book him a tee time at any number of Sanibel Island golf courses, treat him to a delicious meal at an area restaurant, or treat him to a relaxing day at the beach. But dad prefers a little adventure, try out one of these five fun activities sure to put a smile on the face of any Dad for Father’s Day:
* Brunch/Dinner: All dads love to eat, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes on Sanibel Island to satisfy the heartiest of appetites. Whether he wants fine dining or cheap eats (casual faire) he won’t be disappointed.
* Fishing: Most dads will use any excuse to go fishing, and our guests are surrounded by nice opportunities to wet a line. There’s a good assortment of Fishing Guides & Charters if that’s something he’s always wanted to do. There are also opportunities for fly fishing with or without a boat, inshore or backbay fishing and offshore fishing.
* Golf: Dad will love you for giving the gift of playing golf, and why not join him to play or be his caddy! Check out the Sanibel Island Golf Club, The Sanctuary Golf Club, or The Dunes Golf & Tennis Club. More courses are available on Captiva Island and in Fort Myers, too.
* Sightseeing & Touring: If your dad is a history buff he’d sure love to visit the Sanibel Historical Museum and Village. Gardeners would love a day spent at the Sanibel Moorings Botanical Gardens. If he’s more of an adventurist why not take him on a Boat Tour or a Segway Tour. There are also nature & wildlife tours he’s sure to love.
After a fun-filled Father’s Day spent with on Sanibel, come back to Blind Pass Condominiums for a relaxing evening spent by the pool. It’s the perfect way to make your dad feel like a king on Father’s Day.
